Ahlstrom introduces new filtration media products for indoor air portfolio

Ahlstrom, a leading high performance fibre based materials company, has introduced Ahlstrom Pleat2Save, a new portfolio of products targeted for residential, commercial and healthcare HVAC (heating, ventilation and air condition) applications.

Pleat2Save is said to provide superior durability during demanding process and usage conditions compared to other similar products, the company reports.

Ahlstrom is a high performance fibre based materials company, partnering with leading businesses around the world.

“Ahlstrom Pleat2Save is a robust product that offers excellent processing performance during filter pleating. This will bring significant savings to the filter manufacturers and cleaner air for the end customers,” commented Fulvio Capussotti, EVP, Advanced Filtration.

Full portfolio

Ahlstrom now has a full portfolio of products for high efficiency air (HEA) applications including Ahlstrom Pleat2Save, Ahlstrom Flow2Save, which was introduced in 2013 for significant energy savings, and Microglass filter media. 

Ahlstrom's Advanced Filtration business area is a supplier of air and liquid filtration materials with a leading market position in life science and gas turbine filtration.  The business area has seven production sites producing filter media in five countries.
