INDEX 11 opens doors for nonwovens business

1 December 2009, Geneva - Preparations for INDEX 11, the leading nonwovens exhibition, have begun. According to organisers, the last event in 2008 achieved record results with 520 exhibitors from 37 countries present, attracting almost 12,500 visitors from around the world. Stand space bookings can be made on-line or by contacting the organisers.

2011 will mark a special occasion in the history of the triennial INDEX exhibition. Taking place from 12th-15th April, INDEX 11 will be the 10th consecutive edition of this flagship exhibition to take place in Geneva since 1984. A period spanning 27 years, which has seen both the event and the industry it represents, go through some radical changes, from the industry sectors it attracts, to its geographical focus, and importantly in the sheer numbers of exhibitors and visitors it attracts.

The event is not only world class but also truly global, attracting visitors from over 100 countries and all four continents in 2008.

At INDEX 11 a broad range of participative events will be staged to illustrate the creativity of the industry and to provide opportunities to broaden business networks. The exhibition will showcase perspectives and trends in the global nonwovens market, support companies in the development of their business fields and provide suitable contact platforms for business partners.
