2011 OUTLOOK draft programme announced

EDANA has announced that the draft programme for the 10th edition of OUTLOOK, which will take place in Budapest, Hungary from the 28th to the 30th September 2011.

Included in the programme are sessions which focus on business and future perspectives, retail and consumption trends, emerging markets and developments within the personal care products sector, nanotechnology, sustainability, and EU regulation and legislation.

The keynote speaker, Mr. Robert Ward, Director, Global Forecasting, from the Economist Intelligence Unit will address ‘The Outlook for the Global Economy'. The main focus of Mr. Ward's presentation will be on global economic perspectives, including China, and new opportunities for businesses in the current economic environment.

The 2011 conference is designed to bring together key players within the personal care products industry, providing an environment for delegates to attend sessions with renowned business consultants and authoritative industry speakers, and to also engage their business partners in the many formal and informal networking opportunities offered throughout the event.

"Due to the huge success of OUTLOOK 2010, and upon request and positive feedback from last year's speakers and delegates, we have decided to return to Budapest, Hungary. This city is a potential gateway to the growing eastern markets, and a cost-effective and central location for delegates, which was deemed as a critical element to attract the industry's key representatives," EDANA said in a statement today.

EDANA welcomes both its members and non-member representatives from the whole supply chain to the event, which attracts key industry players from Europe and across the globe. A copy of the full programme, registration forms and current delegate list can be found on the EDANA website (www.edana.org ), under ‘Events'.
