Invista’s Cordura brand, the go-to fabric for durable, high performance gear and apparel, is launching Meet the Maker, an ongoing series that highlights key brand partners and collaborators with whom the Cordura brand has built long-lasting relationships during its 40-year history.

The series is comprised of originally produced video and thoughtfully crafted digital content that will live on the Cordura brand website, as well as affiliate sites.

“For over four decades, the Cordura brand has been committed to durable innovation. We’re excited to go behind the scenes and explore our rich history with outstanding global brands through our new Meet the Maker series,” said Cindy McNaull, Global Cordura Brand and Marketing Director.

Mystery Ranch

The first Meet the Maker segment features Mystery Ranch, the Bozeman, MT, based backpack company. Mystery Ranch founder Dana Gleason has been using Cordura fabric since he started designing and manufacturing packs in 1975, and was one of the fabric’s first champions.

“Cordura fabric has been the backbone of everything we’ve built for the last forty years,” said Gleason. “We’re proud of our long relationship with the Cordura Brand, and honoured to be the first featured brand partner in this great new series.”

Mystery Ranch is built on a heritage of function, comfort, quality and durability. Since 2000, Mystery Ranch has been manufacturing packs and load carriage systems for military, hunting, wildland fire and mountaineering customers, with a focus on use-specific designs and hand-built quality. Based in Bozeman, MT, Mystery Ranch is a leading brand with worldwide production and distribution.

Cordura

Known for its resistance to abrasions, tears and scuffs, Cordura fabric is the primary ingredient in many high-performance gear and apparel products ranging from luggage, upholstery and backpacks to footwear, military equipment, tactical wear, workwear and performance apparel.

The Cordura brand is a registered trademark of Invista, one of the largest integrated polymer, intermediates and fibres businesses.
