Cordura presents latest fabrics for every lifestyle at Winter OR

New Chambray and Cordura Denim fabrics from Black Peony and Advanced Denim, as well as ISPO Textrends award winning fabric innovations, were on display.

Invista’s Cordura brand has debuted its new fabrics for today’s active lifestyles at the Winter Outdoor Retailer Show that took place in Salt Lake City, UT, last month.

New Chambray and Cordura Denim fabrics from Black Peony and Advanced Denim, Cordura Combat Wool and stylish lightweight Cordura Canvas shirting fabrics as well as ISPO Textrends award winning fabric innovations, were on display, along with a long list of new product adoptions.

“Outdoor apparel is about more than just tough, durable, long lasting fabrics. While durability will always remain at the core of our fabric offerings many of our new brand adoptions showcase the fashionable, functional side of Cordura fabrics too,” commented Cindy McNaull, Global Cordura Brand and Marketing Director.

Cordura Ballistic fabric    

Daehyun Textile presented the latest offerings of Cordura Ballistic fabrics targeted at bags, packs and luggage applications, based on Invista’s highest tenacity nylon 6,6 airbag technology fibres combined with a classic ballistic weave construction.

Cordura Canvas fabric

Nishat Mills has introduced over thirty new Cordura Canvas fabrics based on an intimate blend of Invista’s T420 nylon 6,6 fibre with cotton offering durable, stylish options for outdoor urban apparel, including lightweight shirting fabrics.

Ranging from 4.5 oz to 11 oz, the latest Nishat fabric collection includes Twill, Canvas, Ripstop, Dobby and Cavalry Twill constructions, available with additional wrinkle resistance and water repellency finishing.

Cordura Combat Wool      

Chia Her Industrial has produced a diverse range of Cordura Combat Wool fabrics, including durable double face weaves with rugged nylon face and 100% Merino wool next-of-skin options.

Also featured in their collection are stylish, sophisticated nylon/wool knits and wovens that combine both fashion and functionality.

Cordura Denim fabric

Latest fabric innovations from Artistic Milliners include durable denims with thermoregulation functionality to enhance warmth or cooling properties when needed. These denim fabrics contain fibres with a specially engineered cross-section that helps to move moisture away from the body when the wearer is hot, as well as hollow core fibres to help provide insulation for added comfort on colder days.

Other durable performance denims in the Cordura Denim fabric collection feature technologies designed to channel moisture away from the skin, enhance airflow and help to keep consumers cool, dry and comfortable during exercise and in warm environments.

Cordura Ultralite fabric   

Huamao (Xiamen) Weaving Dyeing & Finishing has exhibited new 20d CORDURA Ultralite fabric for tents and lightweight apparel, in addition to its full array of 30-100d offerings.

Cordura Ultralite fabrics from Huamao are Top 10 winners in both the Outer Layer and Soft Equipment categories for ISPO Textrends 2015, which is designed to showcase the most innovative on trend fabrics for Fall/Winter 2016/2017.
