Wykes International emerges from recession optimistic about the future

Mantec Group, owner of Wykes International, the well known UK based manufacturer of specialist elastomeric and industrial yarns, has announced that Wykes has emerged from the recession optimistic about the future. Group Chairman Tim Kelly said in a statement released today:

Recently promoted Mark Mellor is now responsible for home sales and commercial management and well known veteran textile engineer Mick Siddons has rejoined the company to head up export sales and new business development.

In addition, Mr Kelly said that the much respected Wykes stalwart Laurie Fluck continues to handle product and process development and Smita Pabari gives continuity to the customer service side of the business to ensure that the traditional Wykes service level is maintained.

Wykes, who have a long standing reputation for innovation and long term specialist development with its partners, also has a new range of patented Bilorex products including garment dye-able ultra low power yarns for the knitwear industry.
