Abstracts are now being sought from potential speakers on subjects relating to the use of FRP composites in construction. These will be accepted not later than 31 July.

Presentation topics

The conference is being held amongst the composite flooded Dubai skyline and will introduce and educate visitors on the use of fibre reinforced composites in construction, allowing delegates to explore and discuss the current and future innovations and trends in the industry, organisers report.

Abstracts are now being accepted from potential speakers on the topics including, but not limited to:

  • Materials and design
  • Reinforcement and strengthening
  • Biocomposites in construction
  • Manufacturing
  • Testing
  • Standards
  • Case studies

International audience

Presentations aim to reach an international audience of professional end-users, architects, asset owners, composite manufacturers, material suppliers, consultancies and designers. The breadth of knowledge of visitors will further add to the event's unique meeting of minds, according to organisers.

“We're delighted to be announcing the Call for Papers for CompIC ME 2016. The event will promote an active exchange of technical and scientific information between seasoned delegates and new visitors, providing invaluable networking opportunities for all,” commented Sue Keighley, Events and Communications Specialist at NetComposites.
