JM raises polyester nonwovens price in German speaking countries

Johns Manville, a leading producer of construction and specialty products, today announced a 5% price increase for its polyester nonwovens for bituminous roofing applications in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, effective April 1, 2014.

The company explained that the price increase is necessary because of an unsatisfactory margin level in these regions.
