Miller Weldmaster has produced the I4500 Indexing System, designed to meet the production demands of truck tarp and pergola fabric-based product manufacturers.

The machine incorporates automated rotary webbing cutters and high-speed, state-of-the-art hot air welding features to enhance productivity, minimise material handling and offer easy machine operation.

Miller Weldmaster I4500

According to the company, the new indexing system, designed to weld all narrow webbings and wide reinforcement strips, has created tough, lasting quality truck tarps for multiple industries to protect their goods or equipment.

The machine is said to produce welded truck tarps that are durable and serve as effective covers against inclement weather and the outdoor elements. According to the company, these truck tarps are top-quality and made with the ultimate user product longevity and durability demands in mind.

The I4500 is also designed for manufacturing quality pergolas, such as pergolas canvas covers, awnings and curtains. A pergola can be a freestanding structure or attach to a home or building providing a sitting area that allows for breeze and light sun. The I4500 is said to offer efficient and effective welding capabilities allowing manufacturers to make pergolas that are strong, sturdy and effective at providing cover against direct sunlight and other weather conditions.

Technical properties

All webbings are pre-fed, pre-cut and precisely positioned by the indexing system without measuring. The Miller Weldmaster I4500 features a carriage with two independent heating systems to accommodate multiple welding widths.

It uses an automatic rotary webbing cutter and a custom weld roller support for minimised material handling. The I4500 is configured for all power sources worldwide and equipped with a PLC Smart Screen designed to allow the instantaneous recipe recall reducing production set up time.
