Textiles are an important part of our everyday lives –whether for functional or high-end clothing, or in hidden technical applications such as polymer composites, filtration membranes and architecture.

Nanotechnology can enable coatings for fibres and fabrics to impart properties such as waterproofing, easy-clean, UV resistance, anti-microbial and colour effects.

This event aims to bring together product designers with nanotechnology companies to exchange information, raise awareness of consumer and market needs, and to flag up new technological developments.
