The International Oeko-Tex Association’s Dr Sam Moore will present a free webinar on Wednesday, 3 June at 12:00 Noon EST, discussing the drivers behind the sustainability movement in the global textile industry.

Dr Moore will make the business case for advancing sustainability throughout the textile supply chain and implementing rigid sustainability accounting methods to measure and report compliance, both internally and externally.

“Sustainability requires a strong business case to ensure the long term commitment of the textile industry,” says Dr Moore. “Rigorous accounting for a company’s sustainability practices generates the facts that textile companies need to substantiate their programs and quantify the financial, social, and environmental impact.”

An expert in green textile chemistry and production, Dr Moore will present the Oeko-Tex tools and services available to assist textile product manufacturers, brands, and retailers with comprehensive management and credible reporting of complex sustainability initiatives, especially in light of evolving global regulations and growing consumer and industry demands.
