Exenta to discuss blockchain at PI Apparel LA

PI (Product Innovation) Apparel provides an opportunity for fashion, apparel, and footwear professionals to discover the technologies disrupting their industries.The recently rebranded Exenta, an innovator in next-generation information technology solutions for the apparel, fashion, and consumer goods industries, has announced its sponsorship of the PI (Product Innovation) Apparel LA event from 12-13 February at the Renaissance Long Beach Hotel, CA.

The company’s exhibit will highlight the new Exenta PLM Revo solution. Kicking off day two of the event programme, Exenta CTO Ken Fearnley will lead a think tank discussion entitled Blockchain Technology and Fashion. The session will introduce the technology behind bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and how it can contribute to security, reliability, and social compliance in the apparel and fashion space. Attendees will learn how this disruptive technology may be leveraged for sample tracking, social compliance, materials traceability, and more.
