The 13th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business ceremony took place at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. More than 1,400 nominations from organisations of all sizes were submitted this year for consideration in more than 90 categories.

The jury described Mrs Pavletić as an innovative and thoughtful leader, focused on achieving results and making an impact on the people’s health, as well as making a difference in the market. “This is certainly one of the most innovative product I've seen in this competition. Very interesting approach, with an excellent accompanying materials,” one of the jury members explained.

Innovation and acknowledgement

Mrs Pavletic received the award in this specific category for the invention of the Biocrystal mixture, which has been created in cooperation with a team of scientists and researchers and was presented to the world as a solution to healthier sleep, based on the natural sources.

The company started production with building a prototype – a mattress and a topper with an innovative supplement, which were later marketed through the company’s regular sales activities. After three years, the company has sold almost 30,000 sleeping products with what was later decided to be the technology’s trade name – Biocrystal.

“The Stevie award is a great acknowledgment to the years of hard work that brought to development of Biocrystal technology. It turned out that our innovation changes the direction of thinking but also the further development of bedding industry, and many other industries where the application Biocrystal is possible,” said Mrs Pavletic in her acceptance speech at the Award dinner in New York.

Biocrystal mixture

Biocrystal is a powder formed mixture that contains sixteen crystals chosen according to the positive effects they produce when in contact with any organism, further improved with gold and silver threads. Products incorporating Biocrystal technology are said to help improve energy balance, proper cell function and also provide quality rest and energy renewal.

The smart technology is said to allow achieving the highest efficiency through a specifically determined procedure. This special procedure includes the precisely defined selection of the type of crystals, quantity and mutual ratio and balance of crystals, their grinding and mixing, and finally – addition of gold and silver for special purposes.

It is intended for use in a wide range of products, with the aim of improving the quality of life. Primarily, Biocrystal was intended for incorporation into products for sleep, but combined with use of nanotechnology, the company now aims to expand its application and incorporate it into thread, foam, and fabrics.
