Synchronizing all manufacturing

BMS concluded several orders with leading Chinese textile companies for the implementation of its MES systems. This success is driven by an awakening amongst the Chinese textile companies that the use of MES systems is becoming increasingly essential as an answer to today’s stringent quality requirements and rising production costs, the company reports.

According to the manufacturer, the BMS MES systems are specifically developed for this industry with the sole purpose of synchronizing all manufacturing and logistic processes in the textile mill and optimizing production efficiency and product quality.

Management of ring spinning operation

San Yang Textile, a leading producer of high end twisted yarns, selected the BMS SpinMaster system for the management of its 450.000 spindles ring spinning operation. Making use of the proven BMS wireless networking technology, the system will integrate all machines, from carding up to winding with the central MES server.

Monitoring of all equipment, OEE reporting, order scheduling and order tracking are all handled by the system on a real time basis. The EnergyMaster software monitors the energy flows in the plant and correlates production output of the individual machines with the energy consumed.

San Yang Textile, based in Dongying City, was established in 2003 and operates 450.000 ring spindles and 400 looms. With over 2500 employees and European and Japanese equipment, it produces high end twisted yarns and fabrics that target markets across the world.
