Radici Plastics Suzhou, a RadiciGroup company specializing in engineering polymer production based in Jiangsu Province in China, has joined a fund-raising drive promoted by the Italian community in Shanghai to send 20,000 masks and other medical devices to Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital in Bergamo over.

“This equipment has already arrived at its destination. In addition to the donation from Radici Plastics Suzhou, the employees of the company, about one hundred strong, also wanted to participate in the drive by joining the initiative of the Italian community in Shanghai coordinated by some native Bergamascans who live and work in the city. A total of over EUR 35,000 was collected to help the Bergamo area cope with the coronavirus emergency,” RadiciGroup said in a press statement.

“The solidarity campaign is not yet over, and, in all probability, more aid will arrive soon.

This is evidence that, in this severe global scenario, collaboration among the various organizations located all over the world will become even more valuable.

In compliance with local laws and regulations, all RadiciGroup companies and the Bergamo headquarters, in particular, have immediately adopted measures to prevent the spread of infection and are continuously staying up to date on the evolution of the emergency to further the aim of strengthening the Group safety culture.”
