OrganoClick reports solid profit growth for 1Q 2015

The company continued its fast expansion during the first quarter of 2015, as its revenue increased by approximately 111%.

The company continued its fast expansion during the first quarter of 2015. The revenue in the group increased by approximately 111% from SEK 2.5 million in the first quarter of 2014 to SEK 5.3 million during the first quarter of 2015. The total revenue for the group amounted to SEK 5.5 million during the quarter.

Future plans

The company is planning on investing the capital into the international expansion of its business, whilst strengthening the sales and marketing organisation in the business unit Performance textiles & nonwoven, as well as launching the company’s first fibre moulded material onto the market.

“We are currently working intensely with the completion of the company’s new production facility and have initiated a number of new key recruitments. Looking ahead to second quarter we see that the sales continue to grow rapidly in comparison with 2014,” commented CEO Mårten Hellbergs.

OrganoClick AB

OrganoClick AB was founded in 2006, based on scientific breakthroughs in methods for modifications of bio-fibres at the Swedish University for Agricultural Sciences and Stockholm University.

The company has its headquarters, R&D, and production in Täby, outside Stockholm, together with its daughter company OrganoWood AB.

In 2008, OrganoClick was recognised for its unique and green technology with the prestigious Swedish environmental innovation price Miljöinnovation. The same year the company was acknowledged as the most promising start up company and also won the Innovation and Technology Award.
