Pertex, the leader in innovative lightweight fabrics for outdoor activities, has partnered with leading outdoor brands for A/W 15 season.

“Having seen an early preview of our brand partners’ A/W 15 apparel, I am amazed at the technical innovations that they consistently unfold,” said Steve Laycock, Brand Director, Pertex. “We are extremely proud they’ve selected Pertex fabrics to help make their products the best in the market.”

Adidas jacket

For A/W 15 the company partnered with adidas to produce adidas Outdoor terrex TechRock Climaheat Jacket, made for alpinists and ice climbers who are looking for a very warm yet lightweight and packable jacket.

The jacket is filled with 800 fill-power premium RDS-certified 90/10 white goose down and features Pertex Endurance for maximum protection of the down and Pertex Quantum GL to shave off weight in less exposed areas.

Atomic jacket

Atomic’s highlight for 2015/16 is Treeline Hybrid Down Jacket. Thanks to new PrimaLoft Down Blend, it’s one of the warmest in the Atomic range – but also ridiculously light. Designed for skiers who want one jacket for the whole season, including the cold mid-winter months, it is said to protect in cold and wet conditions, thanks to Pertex Shield+ 2L with 650+ fill Primaloft Silver Down Blend 90/10 white duck down.

Bergans jacket

Bergans of Norway Eggen Jacket is a warm, low weight, minimal volume hybrid jacket with box construction, insulated with PrimaLoft Silver down blend, consisting of 60% down and 40% synthetic fibres. Made with Pertex Quantum for maximum loft, it is suited for ski touring, mountaineering or for use underneath a shell on cold days.

Berghaus jacket

Berghaus innovative Ulvetanna Hybrid has been body-mapped to ensure optimum comfort during use. Hydrodown panels are located where the user needs to retain heat, while Hydroloft panels are located in higher heat areas where the user will need to lose heat more rapidly to stay comfortable. The jacket features Pertex Microlight and Pertex Quantum for maximum warmth-to-weight-ratio.

Other innovations

Other season highlights with Pertex include Cintamani Agnar Jacket that uses Pertex Quantum and 800 fill power 90/10 goose down for maximum loft and insulating properties; Goldwin EX Performance Soft Shell Jacket that with Pertex Shield AP caters to the needs for those who want to ski light and carefree; Haglöfs Essens III Down Jacket that is said to offer minimal weight, superb compressibility and warmth with Pertex Quantum; Mammut Eigerjoch Jacket that uses a lightweight Pertex Endurance shell and PrimaLoft Gold synthetic insulation; and many more.

The Marmot Gigawatt Jacket, for example, is the new athletic version of last year’s Megawatt Jacket that boasts the thermal regulation of Polartec Alpha, stuffed throughout the entire jacket, and the unmatchable warmth of water-resistant, 800-fill power goose down strategically placed in the torso area. Made with superlight Pertex Quantum for maximum loft, the Gigawatt Jacket is a powerhouse of winter warmth, according to the producer.
