Hundreds of key executives from the entire global wipes supply chain will gather in Minneapolis, MN, for three days of market leading information and networking at the 2014 World of Wipes (WOW) International Conference that will be held from 2-5 June at the Depot Renaissance Hotel.

Organised by INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, the WOW conference is the premier event for the wipes industry. Now in its 8th year, the event will feature industry leading speakers, roundtable discussions, market forecasts, award presentations, networking opportunities and more.

Bringing together the entire vertical chain, including raw material suppliers, roll goods suppliers, machinery/equipment suppliers, converters, brand owners and end product manufacturers, WOW covers dry and wet wipes for consumer, industrial, medical, healthcare, personal care and hygiene end-uses.

Informative and busy

The sessions will cover the latest topics of interest across the wipes industry including flushability, sustainability, new Industrial Wiper regulations and Healthcare Associated Infection (HAI) wipes.

Among the other topics that will be presented are branding, analytics, ethnography, coloring, compliance, certification and technical aspects of wipes.

Special networking opportunities include a complimentary Welcome Reception, sponsored by Kimberly-Clark Professional Partnership Products along with INDA, Table-top Exhibit Display Receptions, and Dining with Industry Thought Leaders on the final day of the event.

A look at things to come

The Wipes 101 session, A Look at Things to Come, is a new industry offering at WOW that provides a glimpse of INDA’s new two-day short course on the wipes market. The Wipes Nonwoven Training Course will be held at INDA headquarters later in 2014.

“This year’s World of Wipes Conference has a full slate of outstanding speakers who will be imparting relevant, insightful information. This event is a must-attend for anyone in the wipes industry as it is the only event devoted entirely to wipes,” said Dave Rousse, President, INDA.

“Based on the positive response last year, we will once again offer a kick-off reception Monday night, sponsored by Kimberly-Clark Professional Partnership Products and INDA.”

World of Wipes Innovation Award

One of the highlights of WOW will be the presentation of the annual World of Wipes Innovation Award. This prestigious award recognises innovation in the wipes value chain that advances the use of nonwovens.

Conference attendees will vote on the winner from five products selected by INDA’s Technical Advisory Board as unique, marketable and innovative. Nominations for the World of Wipes Innovation Award close on 14 April.
