Gerber Technology, a leader in integrated technology solutions in apparel and industrial markets, reveals new products in 2D and 3D CAD, spreading, cutting and PLM at the two leading industry exhibitions, Texprocess and interzum, which take place in Germany this week.

“Our participation at international trade events is important to our industry,” explained Mike Elia, Gerber’s CEO. “These programmes showcase the best ideas in the industry, and are the ideal location for Gerber to demonstrate its multiple integrated technologies. We’re proud to support such events as Texprocess in the fashion and apparel industry, and interzum, a global show for the furniture and transportation interiors industries.”

Diamond Sponsor at Texprocess

At Texprocess, the top international trade fair for the processing of textile and other flexible materials, Gerber is the Diamond Sponsor of the Innovative Apparel Show, which features a catwalk presentation produced by South African producer choreographer Kevin Oates for young designers from four fashion colleges.

“We’re excited to be sponsoring this new event because it demonstrates the innovative vision of college designers, brought to life with the most sophisticated design and automation technologies,” said Elia. Texprocess runs from 4-7 May in Frankfurt.

Exhibited technology and products

Gerber is also participating in interzum 2015, the leading exhibition and conference for the furniture and transportation interiors industries, which takes place from 5-8 May in Cologne. At these events, the company will be introducing many new innovations in 2D and 3D CAD, spreading, cutting and PLM.

It will also highlight the ability to automate workflows and processes in both the virtual world of design and merchandising and the tangible world of production with its broad spectrum of advanced technologies and industry leading field service and support to help customers plan, design, source, manufacture and track their products across their supply chain.

“We are also introducing a new look that reflects our work at the leading edge of workflow and process automation,” said Elia. “It’s a modern next step from our previous branding, and it builds on our history of innovation and communicates how our technologies and services help companies perform at their optimum level in highly competitive industries.”
