The OEKO-TEX portfolio of independent, third party testing and certification programs offers many helpful tools for companies committed to sustainable textiles. The OEKO-TEX Standard 100 is the global standard for manufacturers, brands, and retailers that want to ensure their textile products are tested for more than 300 potentially harmful substances such as lead and other heavy metals, pesticides, residual surfactants, carcinogenic dyestuffs, and formaldehyde.

The STeP by OEKO-TEX certification is available for textile manufacturing facilities that follow sustainable production guidelines that include environmental and social components. The new MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX consumer label is an important marketing tool for OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified products that are manufactured sustainably in accordance with OEKO-TEX criteria. The ECO PASSPORT by OEKO-TEX certification is designed for manufacturers of sustainable textile chemicals such as dyes, finishing agents, additives, and processing compounds.

In addition to testing and certification programs, OEKO-TEX also offers My STeP, the comprehensive online certification management system for manufacturers and sourcers who operate in the complex, global textile supply chain.
