Groz-Beckert Academy: the training programme 2014

The new training programme of the Groz-Beckert Academy for 2014 is now available and it includes the well-proven courses along the entire textile value chain as well as completely newly developed courses. Whether knitting and warp knitting, weaving, felting or tufting, whether basic, advanced or special course – experienced and dedicated experts equip the course participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills.

The new training programme of the Groz-Beckert Academy for 2014 is now available and it includes the well-proven courses along the entire textile value chain as well as completely newly developed courses.

Whether knitting and warp knitting, weaving, felting or tufting, whether basic, advanced or special course – experienced and dedicated experts equip the course participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills.

The programme is continually expanded, next year the course ‘Tufting and tufting tool technology’ will be offered for the first time.

The basics training courses on offer include ‘Textile value chain basics’, ‘Fibre theory’, ‘Technical Textiles’, ‘Manual flat knitting and fault analysis I’, ‘Theory of fabric structures’, ‘Mechanical bonding (nonwovens)’, ‘Sewing and needle technology’, ‘Weaving technology’, and ‘Tufting and tufting tool technology’.

The advanced training courses include ‘Manual flat knitting and fault analysis II’, ‘Electronic flat knitting’, ‘Large diameter circular knitting technology’, and ‘Warp knitting technology’.

The special training courses include ‘Cylinder training’, ‘Cylinder gauge changes’, ‘Lubrication technology’, ‘Mounting of card clothing in a mounting device’, ‘Operating the WarpMaster machine’, and ‘Technical training on the WarpMaster’.
