Nanofibre technology is a growing interest for filter media professionals. INDA's Nonwoven Filter Media Training Course, co-located with Filtration2014, is designed for those who want to learn more about nanofibres (fibres with diameters less than 100 nanometres) and the important role they play in air and liquid filtration—including how to produce and structure them in filter media.

The course that will take place from 18-19 November 2014 at the Baltimore Convention Center will cover several topics:

  • Nanofibre technologies: Why you should choose nanofibres; how nanofibres are produced; how you can structure nanofibres in filter media; recent developments in air and liquid filtration; and the market trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Air filtration: The technologies – meltblown, spunbond, wetlaid, needlepunched, and others – in residential, industrial, HVAC, personal protection, transportation, and gas turbines.
  • Liquid filtration: The principles of liquid filtration, major segments, nonwovens in liquid filtration, standards, testing, market and technology trends.

Instructor Christine Sun, PhD, Principal, Textile Research Associates, is a globally recognised technical and market expert in nonwovens and the filter media industry.

After the two-day comprehensive course, you will receive a complimentary pass to attend the Filtration2014 exposition and conference and see real life examples of air and liquid filter media as part of your training.
