Nanofibre technology is a hot topic these days for filter media professionals. At this year's Filtration2014 International Conference & Exposition, visitors will have an opportunity to learn more about nanofibres and the important role they play in air and liquid filtration including how to produce and structure them in filter media.
Instructor Christine Sun, PhD, Principal, Textile Research Associates is a recognised technical and market expert in nonwovens and the filter media industry. Sun is capable of guiding filter media professionals through the intricacies of the air, liquid, and nanotechnology markets.
Areas to be discussed during the course include:
- Nanofibre technologies: Why you should choose nanofibres; how nanofibres are produced; how you can structure nanofibres in filter media; recent developments in air and liquid filtration; and the market trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Air filtration: The technologies – meltblown, spunbond, wetlaid, needlepunched, and others – in residential, industrial, HVAC, personal protection, transportation, and gas turbines.
- Liquid filtration: The principles of liquid filtration, major segments, nonwovens in liquid filtration, standards, testing, market and technology trends.
