James Heal to demonstrate its key instruments at Techtextil 2015

Louise Wilson, James Heal Senior Textile Technician, will be teaming up with Carl von Gehlen, the company’s exclusive sales and service representative in Germany, to promote its range of precision testing instruments and test materials at Techtextil trade fair that takes place from 4-7 May in Frankfurt.

With 1,300 exhibitors and around 27,500 visitors expected, Techtextil is the world’s central marketing and sourcing platform for users and manufacturers of technical textiles and nonwovens.

A UK based precision engineering company is inviting Techtextil visitors to see what James Heal can offer to those involved in technical textiles. The company will be demonstrating key instruments and representatives will be available to discuss how James Heal testing solutions can meet specific testing needs.

On display

Instruments to be demonstrated at this exciting exhibition will include TruBurst – an intelligent bursting strength tester with unprecedented functionality, according to the manufacturer.

This instrument is said to enable an extensive variety of tests to be performed on a wide range of materials.  These include textiles, medical supplies, paper, tin foil and plastic items – it has even been used to test the burst strength of mosquito nets.

Also on display will be Martindale 1302S, an instrument designed to enable customers to pre-select from a range of attachments those, which match their own testing needs. The different attachments allow for a wide variety of tests to be performed on a diverse range of product types, including wet and damp testing, lacquers, coatings, wood, laminates, paints, textiles, thick samples, liquids, sprays, powders, straps, ropes and shoelaces.
