Higher performance

Scott & Fyfe aims to optimise the design of its products to tackle specific challenges such as drape, resin flow, air entrapment and surface finish to provide a highly effective solution.

This comes as a result of the growing demand by the closed moulding community of higher performance products that process efficiently, the company reports.

Paul McMullan, Business Manager for Scott & Fyfe Composites commented: “Stitch-bonded fabrics are a core competence of Scott & Fyfe, having sold more than one billion squared metres in the last 15 years, that is enough to cover 150,000 football pitches. This level of knowledge and experience combined with our commitment to innovation and working in partnership with our clients enables us to be the perfect partner to develop and provide tailored solutions to our clients needs”.

Scott & Fyfe

Scott & Fyfe has been designing and producing a vast range of technical textiles for numerous market areas for almost 150 years.

As of January 2013 the company officially became owned by the employees after the decision to move from family ownership.
