Methods Workshop will unveil the newly redesigned Quick TruCost (QTC) costing software at the Texprocess Americas trade show that will take place from 13-15 May in Atlanta, GA.

Located inside the Technology Solutions pavilion, the sewn products costing and engineering solutions provider will offer hands-on demonstrations of the innovative software that is said to empower design, development, sourcing and production teams to quickly and accurately predict labour costs by answering  eight to 12 simple questions about a product’s components and construction.

Expanding interest

“The demand for early-stage costing is growing across all of our markets,” explained Methods Workshop President John Stern. “As time and margin for error continue to shrink in the apparel and sewn products industry, we reinvested to make Quick TruCost faster and easier to use than ever before.”

“While it has always been popular with our clients, we believe that the sleek new interface, robust platform and other system improvements will expand interest and use of QTC across a wider range of companies and functional departments.”

Helping manufacturers

In addition to the latest release of QTC, Methods Workshop will also feature its TruCost (ETC) production costing and methods optimisation software at Texprocess Americas.

The software is said to enable engineering and production teams to accurately measure product costs, define operational best practices, and benchmark manufacturing performance against global standards.

Used either standalone or as a companion to ETC, Quick TruCost helps manufacturers, brands and vertical retailers reduce costing time by up to 90%, eliminate costly errors and better identify and control costs, the company reports.
