The second International Conference on Natural Fibres ICNF2015 will take place from 27-29 April 2015 in Azores, Portugal, and will feature Natural Fibrenamics Award 2015 – a showcase of the latest innovations in the field of natural fibres, both for the scientific and industrial communities.

Prof Juan Hinestroza, Cornell University, NY, is a key speaker, who will give a lecture about Teaching Cotton New Tricks via Manipulation of Nanoscale Phenomena.

Prof Aart W. van Vuure, Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, will give a lecture about Natural bio-composites: research highlights on the performance of bamboo, flax and hemp fibres.

DNFI Session – The DNFI (Discover Natural Fibers Initiative) will organise a special session inside ICNF2015 programme called Natural fibres today and tomorrow - the market situation.

The programme will also include the Best Poster Award, in recognition of the most outstanding posters of the conference.
