EDANA closed its 2016 International Nonwovens Symposium (INS), having confirmed and shared the industry’s confidence in the opportunities and strengths of the nonwovens industry.

With a highly-praised table top display, and the traditional EDANA walking dinner, more than 185 participants from 123 companies of 23 countries across the supply chain took advantage of the many networking opportunities, discussing the variety of topics such as “Industry 4.0” challenges and opportunities, to biodegradability, recycling, innovation support, new processes, and new filter media.

Wolfgang Plasser from Lenzing in Austria said that he believed the INS to be “a worthwhile event, in the right place at the right time, with a strong presence of companies from Central and Eastern Europe, excellent technical content, and attended by 100% industry experts.”
