Nonwoven can be engineered to offer cost effective solutions for the manifold technical challenges existing in human, social and industrial activities of the Indian economy. The material has a great potential, which largely remains untapped in India.

The functionalisation of nonwovens opens up the possibilities of application areas to the great levels, the association reports.
