DesleeClama, a leading textile producer of textiles and mattress cover designs, has appointed Camilla Franklin to the newly created role of Sales and Woven Products Manager at DesleeClama North America.

Camilla brings more than 20 years of textile experience, with a focus on design and product development in knitted, woven, jacquard and printed fabrics for the mattress, contract, home furnishings and apparel markets. She also has considerable expertise in trend research, new market development and global sourcing.

Franklin completed her post graduate degree at The Scottish College of Textiles at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. Upon graduation, she was awarded The III International Competition prize for textile design and travelled to Japan for the exhibition and presentation ceremony. This led to work with internationally renowned London fashion designers Jasper Conran, and Paul Smith.
