Filtech is the largest filtration event, organised for all those concerned with designing, improving, purchasing, selling or researching filtration and separation equipment and services. In 2013 more than 30% of all foreign guests came from overseas, and in total 80 nations were represented.

Beyond the materials listed below, the company will also showcase glass fibre nonwovens for lead acid batteries.

Key exhibits

Polyester spunbond for industrial air pollution control applications is a cleanable filter media, produced at the company’s new BiCo spunbond line in Berlin, which is said to offer excellent mechanical strength and pleatability.

Polyester spunbond for oil filtration is a 100% synthetic filter media with fibre gradient structure, which efficiently removes contaminants at high dust holding capacity, according to the company.

Micro glass air media for HVAC allows a low pressure drop combined with a very high dust holding capacity due to its natural structure. These 100% biosoluable glass fibres are harmless to health, purely mechanical and highly efficient, the manufacturer reports.

Biosoluble glass micro fibres for HEPA/ULPA, ASHRAE air filtration and battery separators are said to offer high-filtration efficiency due to the very fine diameter of these micro fibres. The fibres are easily dispersible, providing improved density and tensile strength within filter papers.

PP meltblown for food and beverage is said to provide precision calendaring, resulting in more consistent filtration properties. A third party certification is available for high-purity filtration applications.

Glass fibre sliver and glass needle mat for mist elimination will also be on display. The C-glass fibres offer chemical resistance and excellent drainage properties, making these products an excellent choice for a wide range of industry applications, the company reports.
