The Nonwoven Micro and Nanofibre Fundamentals and Applications Course is part of INDA's and The Nonwovens Institute's (NWI) Professional Development Series.

This course is well-suited to anyone with a bachelor's degree in engineering, technical or textiles, or at least one year of nonwovens' experience. Be prepared to explore the important role this technology will play in the nonwovens and engineered fabrics industries.

Attendees will focus on the raw materials, technologies, tests, and evaluations that can bring new opportunities for your organization. Taught by industry and technology expert instructors, you will advance through these critical topics for success:

  • Polymer properties and fibre formation
  • Polymers used in electrospinning from both solvents and melts
  • Familiarization with nozzle and nozzleless electrospinning processes
  • Composite materials with unique properties
  • Post-processing methods leading to new ceramic nanofibre materials

As an added bonus, attendees will gain instruction in The Nonwovens Institute's state-of-the-art pilot lines and analytical labs. You'll learn technologies and discover a hands-on approach to help solve your organization's challenges.
