Fibrella Perf product range is said to offer solutions suitable for traditional and advanced wound care as well as surgical applications.

“Suominen’s Fibrella products have served the medical markets in wound care and surgical products already for decades in Europe and North America. Now we are able to even better serve our customers in South America as we will start local production of Fibrella Perf at our Paulínia plant in Brazil,” explained Marika Mäkilä, Product Manager for Medical applications.

Fibrella Perf nonwovens

Fibrella Perf nonwovens feature superior levels of safety, softness, and comfort, according to the manufacturer. Being breathable, skin-friendly, low-linting and very absorbent, Fibrella Perf is said to have all the properties required of a best-in-class wound care product.

In surgical laminates and apparel Fibrella Perf offers great liquid transfer properties and absorbency. In addition, Fibrella Perf range offers choice for various sterilization methods.

The launch of the Fibrella Perf product range takes place at the Outlook Plus Latin America 2015 that is held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, from 3-5 March. The range will be available as of the fourth quarter this year, said Ms Mäkilä.
