The DiloGroup will present its portfolio of fibre processing equipment to the Turkish market when it exhibits at the ITM Texpo Eurasia 2013 which is being held together with the Hightex 2013 in Istanbul from 29 May to 1 June. INDA, Association of the Nonwovens Fabric Industry has announced it has entered into a strategic alliance agreement with the China Nonwoven and Industrial Textile Association (CNITA). CNITA is the Chinese government-approved national association for the nonwovens and technical textiles industries in China.

As part of its Green Packaging Initiative launched in 2011, organic food supplier Ja! Natürlich took a further step to avoid plastics recently by introducing a range of 100% biodegradable fruit and vegetable nets made from Lenzing Modal fibre. Accordingly, onions, potatoes and beetroots are now being packaged in the ‘green’ nets.

Its official - the next edition of Techtextil will be bigger than ever before. According to organiser Mess Frankfurt, the number of exhibitor registrations for the trade fair, which will be held in Frankfurt am Main from 11 to 13 June 2013, is already significantly higher than at the comparable time two years ago.

At a recent International Press Conference for the Texprocess and Techtextil fairs to be held in Frankfurt in June, Francesco Marchi, Director General of EURATEX, highlighted the importance of the textile and clothing industry, its coming challenges and the role of technical textiles and new processes in the industry. In Mr Marchi stressed the importance of world-class fairs like Techtexil and Texprocess Fairs to the sector.
