Performance Days, the leading functional fabric trade fair that will take place from 28-29 April in Munich, Germany, invites visitors to enjoy its comprehensive presentations programme dedicated to design, sustainability, and innovation.

The first day will start with the focus on design and creative innovation in colour and shapes. As part of the discussion related to the correlation between the sustainability and innovation, orators will then present different tools available in the market to improve today’s conditions.

At the end we present another highlight with a presentation about how an innovation can be protected on the market at the end.

Fabrics and trends

The 28 April will start with a fabric presentation entitled Functional Fabrics Trends for 2017, presented by Ulrike Arlt, a freelance journalist. The presentation will inform about the latest performance trends in functional fabrics for the sports garment business.

The next slot explores Colour Trend Summer 2017 & Winter 2016/17, by Nora Kühner, independent fashion & design consultant.

Performance Days

Performance Days was launched by Weichert Agencies in 2008 as the first event of its kind. Created as a special platform for functional sports and workwear fabrics to include yarns, finishes, and accessories, Performance Days has become established as a semi-annual event held in Munich, Germany.

Due to its specialization and timing, Performance Days is the hot spot for innovations, trends and new fabrics in active wear, taking place early enough in season for designers, product managers and buyers to start working and preparing their new collections.
