BioPosture, a manufacturer of BioMemoryFoam eco-friendly mattresses, pillows and health products has announced it is entering into an exclusive licensing agreement and a strategic partnership with California-based Hologenix, the makers of Celliant technology for the health care sector.
The agreement will give BioPosture the opportunity to offer consumers its new Evolution Mattress which incorporates Celliant technology, a responsive textile that claims to harness and recycle energy through the medium of fibres. Celliant is said to offer clinically supported health-related benefits.
BioPosture’s current product line features an eco-friendly mattress constructed of BioMemoryFoam incorporating a neutral posture support zone developed to offer consumers unmatched comfort with the best ergonomic support during sleep. The company’s product line of mattresses, assorted pillows and other health-related items are available through a growing national network of Doctors of Chiropractic and other licensed health care professionals.
“The introduction of the BioPosture Evolution Mattress and pillows with Celliant technology will give consumers access to safe, proven and cutting-edge products with properties that will enhance their overall well-being. Our agreement with Hologenix represents a commitment to health care professionals who are seeking to provide innovative and high quality health related products to their patients,” said Thomas Williams, CEO and President of BioPosture.
Hologenix developed Celliant utilizing a blend of minerals and proprietary ingredients that are embedded into the core of the fibre. According to the company, Celliant technology harnesses the human body’s natural energy, and has been clinically proven to enhance tissue oxygen levels, improving sleep quality, health and wellness.
Celliant is patented in 12 countries and its benefits are said to have been validated in numerous clinical studies, with additional studies currently underway in 2012.
“Celliant and BioPosture share the same goal of bringing the latest healthy lifestyle technology to individuals. Combining our technology with BioPosture’s extraordinary memory foam mattresses and pillows creates a powerful combination of benefits for users. We are certain that chiropractors and other health care professionals will feel confident in recommending these products to patients,” said Seth Casden, CEO of Hologenix.
Founded in 2003, Hologenix, the producer of Celliant technology, aims to create, develop and bring to market products that enhance people’s lives through new materials. The company says it strives to deliver the future of healthy innovation through a variety of consumer categories and continues to explore new territories and is currently running FDA-focused, clinical trials to expand into the medical product arena.
