Taiwan Outdoor Show, Asia's leading outdoor showcase event, will take place from 12-15 October, at the Taipei World Trade Center, featuring the latest in the world of outdoor products. Returning for its third year, the 2017 Taiwan Outdoor Show is set for its biggest ever event, with a more innovative and diverse offer on display, organisers report.

Due to the success of last year's show, the 2017 show has been able to book a record number of exhibitors. In 2016, 80 exhibitors attended. In 2017, 110 exhibitors will participate, which is almost 38% increase in one year. The show is expecting to attract over 120,000 visitors.

Many of the world's leading outdoor brands exhibited in 2016, presenting their latest outdoor innovations. The 2016 show was also a hub of smaller brands that were keen to show off their ingenuity to the world. The exhibition was complimented by a variety of innovative outdoor experiences, such as Taiwan's first ever bouldering experience, an outdoor school that featured 18 experts who gave free speeches on a range of outdoor subjects, and Taiwan's first ever Hilleberg tent display, which also acted as a camping newbie consultation area.

From hiking boots to BBQs, the 2017 Taiwan Outdoor show promises to offer something for anyone interested in outdoor activities. In addition to the record number of outdoor exhibitors, a number of fun and educational activities are planned, including skiing, slacklining, rock climbing and triathlon areas.

“This year, our exhibition brings together many of the world's leading outdoor manufacturers. It is also set to push many outstanding Taiwanese brands to the global stage,” said Jerry Yiao, Executive Vice General Manager of Chan Chao Int'l Co., Ltd, an exhibition organiser.

“In addition, the various activity and experience areas we're installing make us incredibly unique. I'm confident that it will allow visitors to gain an in-depth understanding of the diverse range of outdoor options open to them. I hope that the show enables those who attend to step outside and embrace their dreams.”
