The Teijin Frontier stand (no. 112) will showcase products that combine high performance and comfort to meet diverse demands for sports and daily wear. Teijin Frontier looks forward to developing with new customers and improving awareness of its materials through participation in this show.

Specific exhibits will include the following:

DELTAPEAK

Teijin Frontier’s next-generation fabric offers a well-balanced combination of softness, durability, elasticity, ultraviolet protection and anti-transparency. Wind-blocking properties can be added utilizing its dense, flat-knit surface. Nylon-based DELTAPEAK also has outstanding abrasion resistance.

Octa

This polyester fiber has a unique, highly modified cross-section with eight projections aligned in a radial pattern around a hollow fiber. Notable advantages include rapid wicking and drying, and useful bulkiness. Octa Neo is a multilayer fiber that combines Octa fibre with various chemical and natural staple fibres.

ECO STORM

This lightweight, high-performance material, both waterproof and breathable, is made from recycled polyester and laminated with a thin but highly durable polyester film.

Fluorocarbon-free water-repellent materials

Fluorocarbon, a halocarbon in which certain hydrogen atoms are replaced with fluorine, is a greenhouse gas targeted under the Kyoto Protocol. Fluorine buildup is thought to be harmful to the human body and the environment. Teijin Frontier is offering fluorocarbon-free and stable production materials as well as water-repellent and soft feeling owing to its optimum water-repelling processing method and dyeing technique.

SOLOTEX

Teijin Frontier’s polytrimethylene terephthalate fiber is highly soft, stretchable, shape retaining and durable. As a partially bio-derived material, it also helps to conserve fossil resources.
