Outlook 2015 confirms keynote speakers

For this edition, EDANA welcomes back Robert Ward from the Economist Intelligence Unit as the keynote speaker to discuss global economic outlook.

EDANA, the leading global association serving the nonwovens and related industries, has announced the keynote and confirmed speakers for Outlook 2015 conference that takes place in Athens from 23-25 September 2015.

For this edition, EDANA welcomes back Robert Ward from the Economist Intelligence Unit as the keynote speaker to discuss the Global and EU Macroeconomic Outlook. Opening the conference, Robert will address the global economic outlook.

Confirmed speakers

The list of confirmed speakers that will present at the conference includes:

  • John Pollaro, President of John Pollaro Consulting, on Disposable Absorbent Products – Is There Anything Left To Invent?
  • Frank Wiesemann, Principal Scientist from Procter & Gamble, on improving the relevance and consistency of consumer associations’ testing
  • Jonathan Bourget, Director of Apis Rex Consulting, on the role of private equity in the development of the nonwovens industry
  • Karl-Michael Schumann, owner of Karl-Michael Schumann Consulting, on an innovative approach to strategic raw materials
  • David Dodwell, CEO of Strategic Access, on The Rise of China and the Asia-Pacific: Understanding the challenges, harnessing the opportunities

Cultural differences

Speakers also include Dow, Eastmanm Georgia Pacific, and LG Chem on the key new material developments, and coverage of the evaluation of nonwovens materials softness and lessons from the testing of tissue.

Unicharm will also present the cultural differences in the perception of feminine hygiene products, and innovative solutions from Japan.
