Jiangsu Changshu Baofeng Special Fibre, an aramid fibre products manufacturer, has successfully developed a modacrylic cotton blend fluorescent high visibility safety fabric, which is said to provide better security and visibility in safety clothing.

According to the company’s General Manager Qian Jun, the fluorescent fabric is made by combining the modacrylic fibre and cotton, which is said to offer excellent permanent flame retardant performance, as well as soft feel, and good water absorbency and breathability.

Product application

The bright, eye-catching fluorescent fabric has passed the EN20471 standard and it is reported that the fabric is produced by using high performance fibre blending technology and dyeing finishing technology independently developed by the company.

The fabric’s added value has been further enhanced with a wide range of product applications. The successful launch of the fabric will be one of the important steps for the company to explore production of high-end safety protective textiles.
