Organisers of the ITMA 2011 textile machinery exhibition are extending the area dedicated to fibres and yarns at this year's show due to what they call overwhelming demand.
Debuting at the show's 60th anniversary, the fibres and yarns section was due to occupy the whole of Hall 4. However, due to strong demand from fibres and yarns producers, an additional area in Hall 5 has been allocated.
Visitors to ITMA 2011 at the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via will be able to source natural, manmade and technical fibres as well as natural, manmade and technical yarns from leading names including Antex, Alpaca United, Bros, Buhler, DBT Fibre, Eurotex, Flokcan, Garanti Iplik, Giorgini, Hilosa, Invista, Leferon, Lenzing, Miroglio, Nylstar, Pages Valenti, S.A. & Strong Regent Ltd, R. Belda Llorens S.A., Rhodia, Rieter Machine Works Ltd - Rieter Yarns, Selkuk Ilpik, Swiss Filament, Texplan, Ulusoy Texastil, UTT, Valeri and Vilarrasa.
"With the projected increase in global fibre consumption, we are delighted to offer the ultimate sourcing experience with the inclusion of the new fibre and yarn chapter. We would like to remind all textile and garment industry professionals to plan their visit early and benefit from the enhanced product offerings at ITMA 2011 this year," said Stephen Combes president of CEMATEX.
