Miller Weldmaster, a leader in machines for producing quality ducting products, offers the FX100 to duct manufacturers for faster, more efficient production of flexible ducts.

The machine incorporates state-of-the-art automated technology to ensure duct manufacturers’ processes are faster and easier to operate.

It is designed to weld a wide range of materials into wide reinforced flexible ducting, and is said to enable the welding of multiple sizes, lengths and ducting configurations.

Easy and fast production

Depending on the material type used, application, and seam width, the FX100 is said to dramatically increase production over current methods. The machine model produces ducting ranging from 50 mm to 1.22 m in diameter, and it is capable of welding PVC, polyurethane, and thermoplastic rubber.

According to the manufacturer, the FX100 enables easy, fast production of single ply ducting, single ply ducting with a wear strip, and double ply ducting.

A wire payoff and a wire former allow for payoff, formation, and controlling of a pitch of a range of wire from 1 mm to 4.5 mm, and a material payoff makes easy material handling possible. A ducting take away system complements the machine’s diverse configuration and weldable material options.
