Dienes, a leading manufacturer of slitting systems and knife holders, has introduced its improved glasshard shafts to the market.

The quality of the glasshard counter shaft is of decisive importance to achieve optimum crush cutting results, the company says. Dienes offers glasshard shafts tailored to customer demand and adjusted to the respective knives and knife holders for optimum tool service life. In addition, Dienes can provide surfaces with super finished or polished quality, and optional dynamic balancing.

The Dienes glasshard shafts are available as solid, hollow (one or two pieces), cooled or heated shaft with standard or special dimensions.
