W. L. Gore & Associates announces the successful integration of Gore Aerospace Ethernet Cables into upcoming F-16 upgrade initiatives. Gore’s new 10-gigabit cables, exceed Cat6a electrical requirements by delivering reliable signal integrity with sufficient margin for high-speed data transmission over longer distances. These cables are qualified according to C21091 Specifications for F-16 upgrades that require exceptional electrical and mechanical performance in harsh aerospace environments to ensure mission-critical success.

Gore Cables and Materials

The Gore Military Fabrics group will also be introducing its new blog at news.goremilitary.com –  developed to be an informational and technical resource for the military textile market.

Gore will also showcase its full portfolio of Gore Cables and Materials engineered to perform reliably for the life of the aircraft and land vehicle. Products that will be highlighted include small, lightweight high data rate cables; aircraft sealants; and shielding materials.

Throughout the expo, Gore will conduct live demonstrations using the Cable Installation Simulator they developed to replicate the conditions an assembly experiences while being routed during installation in an aircraft. Gore specialists will route Gore-Flight Microwave Assemblies through the simulator and evaluate performance using Gore Phaseflex Microwave/RF Test Assemblies.
