The technology for creating continuous yarn of carbon nanotubes developed by Teijin Aramid B.V. (Arnhem, The Netherlands) was also presented. Teijin now plans to continue to propose new solutions through its development of nanofibers and other nanotechnologies.

nano tech Awards

The nano tech Awards, including the Life Nanotechnology Award, commend innovative, pioneering nanotechnologies. Awardees are selected based on inspections of each exhibitor’s booth by members of the nano tech executive committee and judges.

In addition to recognizing companies, organizations and universities that are contributing to the nanotechnology industry, the awards help to further these technologies by clarifying technical potential and market needs.

nano tech, which is in its 15th year and now the world’s biggest international exhibition of its kind, exhibits nanotechnologies and related topics, including materials and knowhow for fabrication, evaluation and measurement. Results from the latest nanotech research are also presented at the conference.
