Leading Italian producer of thermal insulation for apparel and sleeping bags Thermore will be showcasing its Aria thermal padding at the ISPO Munich trade fair that will be taking place from 26-29 January.

The company has developed its innovation, which is now available with the additional value of a distinctive and more responsible quality, due to a new blend with 50% recycled fibres, it reports.

Sustainability

The Aria range was launched last year to great acclaim, and with measurable brand adoptions. Now Thermore has gone one step further with this next generation of Aria: an evolutionary product with the added new focus on more sustainable product design, using a new recycled fibre blend.

Thermore has recently been awarded Bluesign © Certification for its Classic, Ecodown , Rinnova and Thermosoft  ranges.

Thermore Aria

Made of 98% air, the Aria thermal padding is voluminous and light. It is suitable for contemporary garments like ultra-light down and packable down jackets.

Thermore Aria uses certified Oeko-Tex raw materials. Test results showed that the product is non-allergenic, highly breathable and non-toxic. It also proved to be free of PFOA and PFOS (perfluorooctanoic acid and sulfonate), non-organic chemical substances recently denounced by Greenpeace as being dangerous for humans and highly polluting, the company reports.

According to the company, it understands exactly how to amplify the impalpable lightness of this new Aria insulation, and recommends appropriately matched fabric shells, as light as 30 grams. The three selected weights of fill consist 60, 115 and 170 grams.
