At the exhibition, the company will double the line-up of Teijin products, including fabric incorporating two proprietary materials—SOLOTEX and DELTAPEAK. The exhibits will also showcase selected materials for Spring/Summer 2017 fashions that were developed with special spinning and post-processing techniques.

By displaying a wide variety of fashion applications for these highly functional materials, Teijin Frontier expects to broaden awareness of their comfort and fashionableness, and thereby contribute to expanded business in the European market.

On display

SOLOTEX polytrimethylene terephthalate fibre is designed to be exceptionally soft, highly stretchable, shape retaining, durable and achieve deep, vivid colours.

The booth will present a wide range of hybrid products that blend SOLOTEX with other natural and synthetic fibres for new textures and functions, demonstrating it appeal as an all-purpose fashion material. In addition, 37% of its components are bio-derived, so SOLOTEX is also an environmentally friendly choice, the company reports.

DELTAPEAK is an advanced polyester fabric that closely integrates physicality, functionality and quality. In addition to softness, durability and elasticity, it is said to offer ultraviolet protection and anti-transparency, as well as snag resistance due to its dense, flat-knit surface, making it an ideal material for sports apparel. The booth will present a variety of DELTAPEAK fabrics for fashion, including knit fabrics with a textile-like appearance.
