Teijin Frontier, the Teijin Group's fibre products converting company, will be showcasing its high-performance polyester products at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2014, a leading international sports trade fair that will take place at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, from 6-9 August.

The company’s exhibits will feature a number of advanced hybrid products, including the new DELTA 2000 fabric that is said to add comfortable texture and fashionable appearance to high performance sportswear.

This and the other two principle exhibits planned by Teijin Frontier are environmentally friendly materials that can be recycled with Teijin's ECO CIRCLE, the closed-loop recycling system for turning used polyester into new fibres that is said to offer the quality of petroleum derived fibres.

DELTA 2000

This brand new polyester fabric features a distinctive structure that achieves 2,000 mmH20 of water resistance without any coating.

According to the manufacturer, it offers excellent moisture permeability, a high degree of water repellency and lightness, as well as a comfortably soft hand and luxurious surface appearance.

DELTAPEAK

Teijin Frontier’s next generation fabric enables a highly integrated combination of physicality, functionality and quality, the company reports.

It offers softness, durability, a number of other useful functions such as stretching, ultraviolet protection and anti-transparency as well as snag resistance property due to its dense, flat knit surface.

DUALFINE

This water repelling polyester layer fabric from Teijin Frontier is designed to prevent an emergency water mark.

It is said to effectively absorb sweat, and make water mark invisible from the outside. It also maintains its performance despite repeated washings.
