The official opening of the Texprocess leading international trade fair for processing textile and flexible materials featured a grand awards ceremony, which honoured four products with the Texprocess Innovation Award 2015.

The award winners are Veit with its Fusing 4.0 control process, Xi’an Typical with the Autoseam sewing machine, Brother Internationale Industriemaschinen with its S-7300A Nexio lock stitch sewing machine and Dürkopp Adler with the M-Type Premium sewing machine.

Launched in 2011, the Texprocess Innovation Award is given for outstanding achievements and new developments in the product segments covered by Texprocess, from contract manufacturing, cutting room and automation technology, to design, product development, automation technology, and knitting technology.

Winning innovations

The Texprocess Innovation Award 2015 is given in two categories. The Award in the new technology category was shared by three companies. With its Fusing 4.0, Veit has developed a decentralised control process that makes it easier to regulate the production process as a whole.
