Global Outlook for Carbon Fiber 2011: Call for Papers

"In preparation for the 14th annual Global Outlook for Carbon Fiber conference, it's timely to consider the growing context and significance of this sector," says conference organiser IntertechPira, adding:

"External drivers continue to push for increased lightweighting in transport applications, proliferation of renewable energy generation, and adoption of high performance materials to increase efficiency and productivity across the whole spectrum of end use markets."

IntertechPira's long running event, exclusively focused on the carbon fibre industry, Global Outlook for Carbon Fiber, is a leader in bringing market and technology analysis and high level end user perspectives to pave the way for future development in this sector. Last year's edition, taking place in Valencia, Spain, saw keynote presentations from Zoltek, Boeing, Airbus and General Motors, alongside contributions from key players in the carbon fibre supply chain.

This year, taking place in Hotel Monaco Seattle, Seattle - a core centre for carbon fibre composite production, the event will move to a whole new level with the best ever array of end user presentations across aerospace, automotive, wind energy, marine, military and other sectors. Interested parties are invited to submit papers for review by IntertechPira's program committee to ensure the highest calibre program for 2011.
